Forevers SIA is implementing a renewable energy project under the ALTUM programme “Enhancing Energy Efficiency in Business”

Within the framework of the project, a 72 kW solar panel park with a total capacity of 76.1 kW will be installed on the roof of the office building at Granīta iela 9A, Riga, for self-consumption. The activity is implemented with the support of the programme “Enhancing Energy Efficiency in Business”, capital rebate – EUR 18 225.31. 

The project will achieve a reduction of greenhouse gas emissions of at least 6.66 tCO2/year. 

Estimated time for project implementation: 05.11.2023–05.08.2024.

Project “Digitisation and automation of production and ICT processes at SIA Forevers” (AIZ-DIGI-5)

The aim of the project is to implement a comprehensive set of measures for the significant digitisation and automation of the company’s existing processes. Within the project, four ICT process improvement investments and nine investments related to the digitisation and automation of production processes are to be implemented.

The project will result in a significant upgrade of the existing network, server and video surveillance infrastructure, as well as the creation of an automated and digital alcohol testing and pass system. The digital transformation of production processes will be implemented in 5 out of 7 production steps – raw material distribution, raw material processing (milling), grinding, forming and dosing, as well as packaging, thus ensuring productivity gains in 3 product segments, while reducing the number of employees needed in the production process of 1 product segment.

The project No. 1.2.1.4/18/A/034 “Introduction of new products and experimental production technology at SIA FOREVERS” is underway.

The project is taking place successfully. From December 13, 2021 to December 29, 2021, the final procurement procedure for the purchase of a portioning machine was carried out, the winner of which was SIA "BALTIC PACK" with a proposed contract price of 79 800 euros.

According to the amendments to the contract No. 3, its implementation will take place until June 30, 2022. The goal of the project will be fully achieved.

Implementation of the project “Introduction of new products and experimental production technology at SIA FOREVERS”.

The project No. 1.2.1.4/18/A/034 “Introduction of new products and experimental production technology at SIA FOREVERS” is underway.

The implementation of the project is taking place successfully. In addition to the previously purchased equipment, a vacuum filler was bought and installed, which also received EU co-financing from CFLA, and an ice generator was purchased and installed, for which EU co-financing from CFLA will be requested with the next (final) payment request.

Amendments to the agreement with CFLA were signed, providing for an extension of the project period until June 30, 2022. The goal of the project will be fully achieved.

Implementation of the project “Introduction of new products and experimental production technology at SIA FOREVERS”.

The project No. 1.2.1.4/18/A/034 “Introduction of new products and experimental production technology at SIA FOREVERS” is underway.

The implementation of the project is proceeding successfully. Of the 12 units of equipment planned as part of the project, 8 have been fully purchased, installed and put into operation. The allocated funds in the amount of EUR 903 133.80 (nearly 62% of the total allocated amount) were fully utilized, and another unit of equipment (experimental low-temperature pasteurization line), which is currently in the process of being manufactured, was partially paid for.

The Ministry of Economy supported the prolongation of the project period until June 30, 2022. The goal of the project will be fully achieved.

Implementation of the project “Introduction of new products and experimental production technology at SIA FOREVERS”.

The project No. 1.2.1.4/18/A/034 “Introduction of new products and experimental production technology at SIA FOREVERS” is underway.

A further request for payment in the amount of 285 679.80 euros will be submitted to the Central Agency for Finance and Contracts for the purchase of components of a large-scale experimental line for the production of Sous Vide ready-to-eat food products.

The goal of the project will be achieved in full and on time.

Several components of a large-scale experimental line for the production of Sous Vide ready-to-eat foods for the amount of 396 304 euros have been purchased.

The goal of the project will be achieved in full and on time.

Introduction of new products and experimental production technology at Forevers. SIA “Forevers”

On July 1, 2019, FOREVERS LLC signed an agreement with the Central Agency for Finance and Contracts on the implementation of project No. 1.2.1.4/18/A/034 "Introduction of new products and experimental production technology at SIA FOREVERS".

The goal of the project is to increase the productivity and competitiveness of SIA FOREVERS by introducing new products and experimental production technology, as well as increasing investments in P&A and innovation in accordance with the Smart Specialization Strategy.

As a result of the project, FOREVERS LLC plans to introduce four new products – ready-made meals prepared using the Sous Vide method:

  1. Shashlyk with vegetables (marinated pieces of meat fried on a skewer with vegetables);
  2. Meat medallions with cheese (meat medallions with pieces of cheese);
  3. Steak with vegetables (pieces of meat or chops with fried vegetables);
  4. Sausages with fried potatoes (kupati sausages with fried potatoes).

In order to start manufacturing new products and achieve the goal of the project in accordance with the requirements defined by the company, it is necessary to manufacture, deliver, install and test in a real production environment a unique production technology – a large-scale experimental line for the production of Sous Vide ready meals.

The total cost of the project is 1 463 981.00 EUR, including public co-financing of 45% or 658 791.45 EUR.

The project is scheduled to be completed by May 31, 2021.
